There's no way I could send you back to school without some fun nail designs. From the "IT" nails to a yearbook theme I hope you'll find something fun and new - after-all, a new school year is the best way to start fresh.  Purple and sparkle are very popular fashion trend this fall. I used L.A colors in "Berry" as my base coat and added some bling with "Spoiled" by Wet 'n' Wild in "Trust Fund Baby".








Have some fun taking snapshots of the debate team with these cartoon nails. I used Covergirl's Lasting Love as my main color. I outlined the nails with Noir by NK and added the white bubbles with my trusted "Sheer Bliss" by Sally Hansen.

The Carrie Diaries Inspired Nails





"It's always the same dream. I'm in the city and I belong. Manhattan is mine. But then I always wake up. The same old Carrie Bradshaw in Castlebury Connecticut."

I'm going through a Carrie Diaries withdrawal. I've been addicted to this show since I first started watching it last year. My heart broke to pieces when I found out that it got canceled. Of course a show that I like gets cancelled, #MyLife. I absolutely love the show. The 80s theme is so bright and spunky plus AnnaSophia's outfits are to die for! I decided to do a tribute using my nails. I got the splatter effect by dipping a straw in my nail polish color and blowing through it. If you want, tape the edges of your finger to avoid getting nail polish all over them. You can either use a white or black base, My colors weren't super neon so I opted for a white base. As always, tag me in them so I can see it!



 
Nail Polishes Used: "Bubble Gum" by NK, "Mind Your Own Beeswax" by Spolied (Went 'N' Wild), "White On" by Sally Hansen, "Noir" by NK, a teal color by Charlotte Russe and "Berry" by L.A. Colors.

Daisy Nails



I've been scoping the Brandy Melville website lately and I am in love with their daisy prints! I was a little skeptic about this design because black is so not a summer nail color but YOLO (Am I still allowed to say that?)! Check out my daisy nails.

Gorgeous-Looking Nails in 4 Steps


Want your nails to look like they just came out of a Sally Hansen ad? In 4 easy steps that just might be a possibility!

 1. Strength: Stop biting your nails! Not only does the acid from your saliva break down your nail strength but your teeth can be very damaging. Your're basically ripping apart your nail. Apply an all-natural Vitamin E or Extra Virgin Olive oil to your nails at night. Or you can eat foods like tofu, spinach, yogurt and almonds!

 2. Length: Stop biting your nails! By ripping apart your nail you can permanently damage your growth cycle. Keep your nails healthy by moisturizing them and keeping them clean. It is also said that castor oil can promote the growth of your nails.

 3. Shape: File your nails in one direction to prevent any jagged edges. Filing is also a great way to shorten your nails without using a nail clipper.

 4. Color: Choose your favorite nail polish and fill in your nails. Start at the top of your nail and slowly bring your way down. I've been doing my own nails for years so I finally got the hang of it. Don't worry if one hand looks sloppier than the rest-practice makes perfect.
